Sweta has quickly become a subject matter resource in lease accounting – particularly in the area of sale-leaseback and built-to-suit lease transactions under US GAAP. This was apparent to me when I returned from my maternity leave. Because I was away for three months, Sweta actually reminded me of some of the accounting considerations and identified issues in the transaction that I overlooked.
